بمناسبة يوم ڤيكتوريا ويوم الوطنيين في مقاطعة كيبك، نتوجه نحن السوريين الكنديين بكل المحبة والامتنان إلى الشعب الكندي وإلى هذا الوطن الذي كان إلى جانب السوريين في أصعب سنواتهم، وفتح أبوابه وقلوبه لآلاف العائلات التي كانت تبحث عن الأمان وبداية جديدة.
لقد شعر السوريون في كندا بأنهم جزء من هذا المجتمع، يعيشون فيه بكرامة واحترام وأمل، ولن ينسى السوريون أبداً كل أشكال الدعم الإنساني والسياسي التي قدمتها كندا للشعب السوري، ولا المواقف التي عبّرت عن دعم تطلعات السوريين نحو الحرية والعدالة والعيش الكريم.
وفي الوقت الذي نشهد فيه اليوم مزيداً من التقارب والانفتاح بين الحكومة السورية والحكومة الكندية، فإننا نأمل أن يحمل هذا التقارب مستقبلاً أفضل للعلاقات بين البلدين، وأن يساهم في دعم الاستقرار وبناء جسور التعاون والمحبة بين الشعبين السوري والكندي.
السوريون كانوا وسيبقون أوفياء لكل من وقف إلى جانبهم ومدّ لهم يد العون في أيام المحنة، وكندا ستبقى دائماً في قلوب الكثير من السوريين وطناً للإنسانية والكرامة والفرص الجديدة.

On the occasion of Victoria Day and National Patriots’ Day in Quebec, we, as Syrian Canadians, extend our heartfelt greetings and appreciation to the Canadian people and to this country that stood beside Syrians during some of their most difficult years, opening its doors and hearts to thousands of families searching for safety, dignity, and a new beginning.
Syrians in Canada have come to feel that they are truly part of this society — living with respect, opportunity, and hope for a better future. Syrians will never forget the humanitarian and political support Canada provided to the Syrian people, nor the principled positions that reflected support for the Syrian people’s aspirations for freedom, justice, and dignity.
As we witness today a growing openness and renewed engagement between the Syrian and Canadian governments, we hope this positive direction will contribute to stronger relations between the two countries and help build greater understanding, cooperation, and friendship between the Syrian and Canadian peoples.
Syrians have always remained loyal and grateful to those who stood by them and extended a helping hand in times of hardship, and Canada will always hold a special place in the hearts of many Syrians as a country of humanity, dignity, and new opportunities.

À l’occasion de la Fête de Victoria et de la Journée nationale des Patriotes au Québec, nous, Syriens Canadiens, adressons nos plus sincères salutations et notre profonde gratitude au peuple canadien ainsi qu’à ce pays qui a soutenu les Syriens durant les années les plus difficiles de leur histoire, en ouvrant ses portes et ses cœurs à des milliers de familles à la recherche de sécurité, de dignité et d’un nouveau départ.
Les Syriens au Canada se sentent aujourd’hui pleinement intégrés à cette société, où ils vivent avec respect, espoir et de nouvelles opportunités pour l’avenir. Les Syriens n’oublieront jamais le soutien humanitaire et politique apporté par le Canada au peuple syrien, ni les positions fondées sur les valeurs de liberté, de justice et de dignité humaine.
Alors que nous assistons aujourd’hui à une ouverture et à un rapprochement croissants entre les gouvernements syrien et canadien, nous espérons que cette dynamique positive contribuera à renforcer les relations entre les deux pays et à bâtir davantage de compréhension, de coopération et d’amitié entre les peuples syrien et canadien.
Les Syriens resteront toujours reconnaissants envers ceux qui leur ont tendu la main dans les moments difficiles, et le Canada gardera toujours une place particulière dans le cœur de nombreux Syriens comme un pays d’humanité, de dignité et de nouvelles possibilités.
