لطالما عانى السوريون سنوات طويلة من النزوح والعيش في المخيمات في ظل ظروف إنسانية قاسية، ما جعل إنهاء معاناة النزوح وتهيئة الظروف لعودة الأهالي إلى مدنهم وقراهم أولوية إنسانية ووطنية ملحّة.

وفي هذا السياق، يرحّب المجلس الكندي السوري بالقرار الرئاسي القاضي بتشكيل لجنة برئاسة وزير الطوارئ وإدارة الكوارث السيد رائد الصالح، للعمل على تهيئة البنى التحتية في المناطق المتضررة وتحسين مستوى الخدمات، بما يمهّد لعودة الأهالي بشكل آمن وكريم.

نبارك هذه الجهود ونتمنى للجنة التوفيق في مهمتها، آملين أن تسهم هذه الخطوة في تخفيف معاناة النزوح وتهيئة الظروف لعودة الأهالي إلى مناطقهم. 🇸🇾🇸🇾🇸🇾

For many years, Syrians have endured the hardship of displacement and life in camps under extremely difficult humanitarian conditions. Ending the suffering of displacement and creating the conditions for families to return to their cities and villages has therefore become an urgent humanitarian and national priority.

In this context, the Canadian Syrian Board welcomes the presidential decision to form a committee chaired by Minister of Emergency and Disaster Management Mr. Raed Al-Saleh, tasked with preparing infrastructure in affected areas and improving essential services, paving the way for the safe and dignified return of residents.

We commend these efforts and wish the committee success in its mission, hoping that this step will contribute to alleviating the suffering of displacement and creating the conditions necessary for people to return to their communities. 🇸🇾🇸🇾🇸🇾
