تنويه هام للجالية السورية في كندا

أكد مدير الإدارة القنصلية في وزارة الخارجية والمغتربين، السيد محمد يعقوب العمر، أن لا توجد حالياً أي بعثة دبلوماسية سورية عاملة في كندا، موضحاً أن ما يتم تداوله حول وجود قنصلية سورية في مدينة مونتريال غير صحيح.

كما حذّرت وزارة الخارجية والمغتربين المواطنين من التعامل مع أي جهات أو صفحات تدّعي تمثيل سوريا أو تقديم خدمات قنصلية باسمها.

وأكدت الوزارة أن أي مستجدات تتعلق بافتتاح أو إعادة تفعيل بعثة دبلوماسية سورية في كندا سيتم الإعلان عنها رسمياً عبر القنوات المعتمدة.

وفي هذا السياق، يتابع المجلس الكندي السوري باهتمام ملف إعادة افتتاح المراكز الخدمية القنصلية والبعثة الدبلوماسية السورية في كندا، لما لذلك من أهمية في تسهيل الخدمات والمعاملات لأبناء الجالية السورية.

وسيواصل المجلس متابعة أي تطورات رسمية بهذا الشأن، وفي حال صدور أي إعلان رسمي من وزارة الخارجية والمغتربين، سيتم نشره مباشرة عبر حسابات المجلس الكندي السوري.

Important Notice to the Syrian Community in Canada

Mohammad Yaqoub Al-Omar, Director of the Consular Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, confirmed that there is currently no active Syrian diplomatic mission in Canada, clarifying that reports regarding the existence of a Syrian consulate in Montreal are not true.

The Ministry also warned citizens against dealing with any entities or social media pages claiming to represent Syria or provide consular services on its behalf.

The Ministry confirmed that any developments regarding the opening or reactivation of a Syrian diplomatic mission in Canada will be officially announced through the authorized channels.

In this regard, the Canadian Syrian Board is closely following developments concerning the reopening of Syrian consular service centres and the Syrian diplomatic mission in Canada, given their importance in facilitating services and official procedures for members of the Syrian community.

The Board will continue to closely follow official developments on this matter. Any official announcement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates will be shared directly through the Canadian Syrian Board’s official accounts.
